For one person with one question. No account, no subscription, and the question you asked is not kept.
- Ask about notice, dismissal, probation, leave or pay, and KaziLaw returns the Tanzanian provision that governs it, quoted and cited — in English or Kiswahili.
- Pay by mobile money and receive a code. The code is the whole account: no name, no email, nothing that could ever be shown to an employer.
- You pay to look up the law. You are not charged when KaziLaw has no provision to cite.
The governing provision in minutes, with the section quoted — and every contract, warning and exit letter produced correctly the first time.
- Ask in plain English or Kiswahili and KaziLaw returns the provision that governs the question, quoted and cited, drawn from the Employment and Labour Relations Act (Cap. 366), the Employment and Labour Relations (Code of Good Practice) Rules (GN 42 of 2007), and the Labour Institutions Act (Cap. 300). Zanzibar’s own legislation is held separately and answered separately.
- The contract builder: contracts of employment for an unspecified period, a specified period, or a specific task — a fixed term states which of the grounds in s.14(1)(b) it relies on, seasonal work included, and the contract carries every particular s.16 requires.
- Everyday documents: the warning letters, and the 6 contract-lifecycle records — resignation and unauthorised absence — in English and Kiswahili.
- One login, for one organisation.
Every termination your sites run this year recorded against the Act, with the file to prove it. Here is everything you get:
- Every termination process, sequenced against the statute. Five on the mainland, four in Zanzibar. Each step unlocks only once the requirement the Act sets for the step before it has been recorded, each deadline is tracked, and nothing can be skipped without a recorded reason.
- 60 mainland documents and 30 Zanzibar documents, every one in English and Kiswahili, every one citing the section of the Act or Rule that requires it. Warnings, notices, hearing records, decisions, appeals, certificates of service — produced, not drafted.
- Three logins for every site you run: Director, HR and Manager. A manager sees their own site. HR sees the organisation. The Director sees everything and changes nothing. Every action is logged against a name, so the record shows who did what — which is why nobody has to share a password.
- The sealed record. The moment a document is finished it is frozen, fingerprinted and time-stamped. Hand it to group audit, internal audit or the Company Secretary and it is a record of what was done, not an opinion on whether it was right.
- Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar, each on its own Act, each with its own document set — the jurisdiction is set before anything else.
- Everything in HR — the answering software, the contract builder, and the everyday documents.
Enterprise is priced per site. Add a site, add its three logins.
What you are paying for
KaziLaw is software. It locates the provision of Tanzanian labour law that governs a question and returns it quoted and cited, and it produces employment documents from what you enter. You are paying for access to that software — once, or by the month.
It is not a law firm, it gives no legal advice, and it does not act for anyone. Where a specific case needs advice on its own facts — a contested dismissal, a discrimination or harassment allegation, a retrenchment, or a live CMA matter — that is work for a licensed Tanzanian advocate, engaged directly by you.
